DESCRIPTION
i.c.stars is an internship doing web development, business analysis and community leadership. The role is accountable for:
+ building websites and databases in a team environment
+ managing and leading others
+ organizing inner-city communities to achieve social justice using technology

REQUIREMENTS
+ GED recipient or High School graduate
+ available 9am-8pm Monday through Saturday for four continuous months
+ able to uphold a 0 absences 0 tardiness policy
+ maintained employment for 6months to 1yr at any point
+ able to commute to Chicago daily
+ motivated to drive social change

BENEFITS

+ persons completing the 4 month internship receive placement assistance to find entry-level technology jobs in the industry with organizations. Some of these organizatios include: Allstate, Grainger, Hewitt, Blue Cross, Adler Planetarium, and the YMCA.
